The Merry Maker

Kazzum commissioned artist Arji Manuelpillai to create a small-scale, walkabout performance for family audiences. The commissioned act was called The Merry Maker, a freestyle rap performance performed on a tricycle. The Merry visited several festivals including Stockton International Riverside Festival, Lakes Alive, The Point Eastleigh, The Kings Cross Canal Festival and All Points East Festival.
With support from Tower Hamlets Arts and Events, the Merry Maker also spent a week visiting children in play spaces across the borough of Tower Hamlets in the summer 2017.
