Paper People

Paper People was an interactive, street art performance that combined ‘walk-about’ and ‘visual performance’ for children, young people and their families.

Using a fold-out newspaper stand and a stack of papers, the paper people cut and manipulated their newspapers allowing characters to pop off the page to celebrate the differences and the similarities among us…

Paper People created an opportunity for disabled artists and young people to interact, encouraging young people to view disability and diversity in a positive way.
