Sprung was a lively and playful piece of pop-up outdoor performance, which thrived off direct audience interaction. It stretched the work of the company into the territory of non-verbal work; enriching our existing outdoor work whilst celebrating everybody’s ability to dance.
The 30-minute piece created an opportunity for disabled artists and young people to interact, encouraging young people to view disability and diversity in a positive way. It included performances by our Associate Artists Raph Clarkson and Dan Martin.
Sprung was performed at Spark Festival, Kidderminster Arts Festival, Unity Festival and Stockton International Riverside Festival.
