This year Kazzum Arts turns 35! It’s a big age and we want to make sure we celebrate it properly. Instead of cake and gifts and parties which celebrate the past, we’ve decided to use our 35th year celebrations to support the future of our work.
To do this, we need a little help from you, our Kazzum community.
Our goal has always been simple – to support the wellbeing of children and young people facing adversity through access to creativity; but crisis after crisis has hit the UK, meaning that the children and young people we support are relying upon our workshops more than ever before.
This is where you come in... click below to find out about our crowdfunding campaign which is taking place over the next few months for Kazzum 35 and send us some support in any way that you can.
We’ve got everything from prints, to poetry books, to bespoke artwork and dining experiences up for grabs. Every penny you spend on a prize will go right back towards supporting children and young people through a Kazzum workshop.
There’s always room for more…
Alongside our Crowdfunder, we will be highlighting other ways that people are fundraising this year, and we would like to invite you to do your own fundraising activity for Kazzum 35.
Here are a few ideas to get you started:
Sponsorship – Finally run that half marathon! Or keep it more lowkey with a long walk around your city. Make it creative by upcycling an old t shirt into something fun to do the activity in!
Sales – Sell your old clothes online and donate some of the profits. Or maybe design a few cards to sell around the office. Or there’s always a classic bake sale! Just don’t forget to decorate the cupcakes with creative flair.
Events – Host a craft night with friends and share photos of what you make! If you have a big birthday, wedding or other occasion coming up then why not ask your friends and family to make a small contribution to charity. A small creative party favour might be a fun thank you!
Gifts – If you’re not into fundraising, then that’s okay. You can always send a small donation our way as a birthday gift instead. We’d still love you to do something creative just for you, even if that’s just a bit of doodling in the corner of your notebook.
Whatever you choose to do, the money you raise for Kazzum, big or small, will go towards funding creative workshops for children and young people when they need it the most.
